StoryVid is looking for an Assistant Editor to support fast-turn content creation, social media edits, project organization, and post-production workflows across commercial, branded, and digital content projects.
This role is ideal for someone who understands modern editing styles, platform-native social content, and efficient post-production workflows.
You will work alongside our creative team helping prepare, organize, edit, resize, and export content for multiple platforms and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form social media content
- Create reels, cutdowns, and alternate versions
- Resize and optimize content for multiple platforms
- Add captions and basic motion graphics
- Organize footage and project files
- Assist editors with post-production workflows
- Export and deliver final assets
Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and social content trends
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality
- Interest in commercial and branded storytelling
