Accessibility Statement
Updated: September 9, 2025
StoryVid LLC ("StoryVid," "we," "us") is a Kentucky limited liability company headquartered at 212 N. 2nd Street, STE 100, Richmond, KY 40475, USA. This Accessibility Statement applies to storyvid.com, its subdomains, and our client portal (collectively, the “Services”).
We aim to provide equitable access to our content and Services for users of all abilities, including individuals who use assistive technologies.
1. Commitment to Accessibility
We are committed to making our digital Services as accessible as reasonably possible. While we do not use accessibility overlays or plugins and do not currently have a dedicated accessibility officer, we strive to consider accessibility best practices during the design, development, and publishing of our web content and client portal workflows.
2. Scope
This statement covers:
- Public-facing content on storyvid.com and its subdomains
- Published media, such as case studies, videos, and promotional content
- Core client portal workflows, including project management, review links, invoicing, and deliverables
3. Standards and Accessibility Goals
We aim to meet the following standards:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where feasible
- Select Level AAA techniques, such as avoiding images of text and improving form usability
- Respect for user preferences such as reduced motion and high-contrast modes, where supported
4. Accessibility Features
In building and maintaining our Services, we use the following practices:
- Semantic HTML and appropriate ARIA roles and states
- Logical keyboard navigation and focus order
- Sufficient color contrast for readability and iconography
- Visible focus indicators for navigational elements
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Manual and automated testing, including:
- Keyboard-only walkthroughs
- Screen reader spot checks (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
- Audits for structure, contrast, and label associations
5. Accessibility Status
Our Services are currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Most primary content and workflows meet accessibility standards, but some areas may not be fully compliant:
- Certain legacy templates may lack complete markup
- Some third-party content may fall outside our control
- Occasional user-generated media (e.g., client uploads) may not include alt text or captions
We actively maintain a prioritized backlog of known issues and work to resolve them based on user impact and frequency.
6. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations:
- Third-party embeds and services (e.g., video players, analytics dashboards, external forms) may not meet accessibility standards.
- Older content and templates may not include proper heading structures or ARIA labels.
- Motion or animated transitions may not be fully optimized for screen reader feedback.
- User-submitted content, such as uploaded videos or branding assets, may not include captions or alt text unless requested.
7. Supported Environments
We test and support accessibility features in:
- Web browsers: latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge
- Operating systems: Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA (Windows), and JAWS (Windows)
Please note that we do not support Internet Explorer or discontinued browser versions.
8. Client Portal Accessibility
Our client portal is developed by a third-party vendor (Base 44). While we conduct our own testing to ensure core workflows are accessible, we do not currently have formal WCAG compliance assurances from the vendor.
We continue to monitor and address user-reported accessibility issues in the portal as part of our regular maintenance cycle.
